Rockwater Secret Cove Resort

Rockwater Secret Cove Resort

8/10 Good
"Beautiful resort overall. The room was clean and comfortable, the view was great, restaurant was very nice and the foods was really good. There was a wedding while we were there and the music was pumping ‘til late in the evening (which wasn’t expected) so that kinda killed the peaceful vibe, but at least the music was good (LOL). Complimentary kayaks, which was great, though the one my husband got was in dire need of repairs. Pricey resort but nice. On a side note, I had mentioned that my husband and I were there to celebrate our 29th wedding anniversary but there was no recognition/gesture to acknowledge this, which I thought was kind of lame given what we paid for our weekend there."

"Great location and very helpful staff. A note for future guests, toiletries such as shampoo, conditioner and body wash was included, however, moisturizers were not included. The air conditioner is only in the main area, hence the bedroom can get stuffy if the door is shut."

Private retreat with Ocean Views, Mountain Scenery and Stunning Sunsets

10/10 Excellent
"The sweetest little single wide. Its 2 bed, brand new, and dog friendly house and patio.A beautiful view of the bay and sunset. There are so many beautiful flower pots on the deck and we don't see any neighbors. Very private with beautiful landscaping. The patio stairs are gated optional to keep doggies safe from running after a deer- and there were deer! Patio fire pit was really nice after the sun went down!AC and ice maker, dog bowls, bed, and throws to protect the furniture (our puppy likes to sneak off in the middle of the night to grab a spot on the couch to sleep). Spices, coffee and Splenda! Books, games, cribbage, and pamphlets. Slippers, blankies, binoculars, fresh cut flowers, cooler bag and ice packs. The hosts really put a lot of thought into making this one of the top rentals we've stayed at! We grabbed pizza and pre-made meals from the Oak Tree Market in Madiera and enjoyed our dinners on the patio watching the sunset. So relaxing! We even had the coolest thunder and lightning storm come through last night! The patio is covered with a metal roof, so I imagine if it rains it will sound really great. So impressed with our stay here- they really thought of everything. And if you needed anything, like where best to launch our kayak, they are a text away and super responsive. Thank you Jackie!"

"This was such a unique property. We stayed in the family suite which was perfect for our family of 4. The property is secluded in the forest yet located close to hiking/biking trails and beaches. Each evening we spent time in the pool and hot tub and the owners were very kind and informative. We would definitely recommend staying at this property to anyone visiting the Sunshine Coast."

"The house itself was in a beautiful location and had a great view. It also was clean except for the garbage room below the house. It had many bags of trash that hadn't been disposed of which attracted flys and odor. The location was close to Half Moon Bay store, which was great! A little more work and this could be a five star accommodation. The Ai agent, used for communication, needs some work."
